Stonewall Ambassadors are our group of closest supporters, giving £2,500 a year or more.

Our Ambassadors are leading the way in changing the world for LGBTQ+ people.

As an Ambassador, you will be part of a vibrant, growing network which plays a key part in supporting our vital work towards a world where all LGBTQ+ people are free to be themselves and live their lives to the fullest.

As a Stonewall Ambassador, I get to support a cause that is as important and relevant today as it was in 1989 when the charity was founded.

There are a number of ways I can support Stonewall in my role as an Ambassador, allowing me to engage on a personal level with the vital work the organisation undertakes.

The annual programme of events on offer to Ambassadors provides me with a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow supporters.

I am extremely proud to be a Stonewall Ambassador and to be involved with creating a positive, lasting change for lesbian, gay, bi and trans people both in Britain and abroad.

Fameed Khalique, Entrepreneur, Stonewall Ambassador since 2003

Why become an Ambassador?

In recognition of their generous support, Stonewall Ambassadors are given unique insight into our work through our calendar of regular events. These are an opportunity to hear from our senior team and trustees and to meet other like-minded individuals who are helping drive positive change for our LGBTQ+ communities.

Many Ambassadors also support our work by offering us their time, expertise and networks, allowing our limited resources to go even further.

Our circle of Top Tier Ambassadors is made up of a few of our closest friends who are able to give £5,000 a year or more. Through their high-impact gifts and professional influence, they are a real driving force behind Stonewall’s long-term success and sustainability.

Our Top Tier Ambassadors enjoy bespoke updates on projects of interest and meet at a special fundraising dinner every year, which is a chance to delve deeper into our strategic challenges and priorities.

We all know that Stonewall has the ability to make a real difference and its work is not yet complete.

What is special about being a Stonewall Ambassador is that you really become part of Stonewall and what it does.

You can contribute ideas, energy, as a role model or a leader as well as financially.

Brie Stevens-Hoare QC, Hardwicke Chambers, Stonewall Ambassador since 2013

Will you join us?

At Stonewall, we know we have the experience, networks and expertise to achieve great change for our communities. But our resources are limited. By joining us as an Ambassador today, you can invest in the long-term future of our work, ensuring we can keep fighting for as long as we are needed.

  • £2,500 could help us reach more marginalised LGBTQ+ young people to access education, employment and training opportunities through our Young Futures programme
  • £5,000 could support our campaign for equal access to IVF, ensuring bi women, lesbians and trans people have the same rights to grow a family as everyone else.
  • £5,000 could support delivery of the next phase of our lobbying and public mobilisation campaign to bring about a legal ban on the harmful practice of conversion therapy over the next year.
  • £10,000 could help us ensure more LGBTQ+ refugees have access to life-saving passages out of crisis and to resettlement in safe, secure, caring environments.

To join us as an Ambassador, please set up your regular support below or contact our team directly on 020 7593 1875 or ambassadors@stonewall.org.uk.
