Global projects

Stonewall works in partnership with civil society organisations around the world to advance LGBTQ+ rights. 

We launched our international programme in 2012, and since then we’ve been a leading voice on global LGBTQ+ issues. 

Our partnership model means we work with a national partner everywhere we operate, as they hold unique expertise in supporting the LGBTQ+ community in their country. 

While there have been huge strides in LGBTQ+ equality worldwide, there remain significant barriers which prevent LGBTQ+ people from accessing their human rights, and many countries still criminalise LGBTQ+ relationships and identities.
