Kushal Khandhar

Kushal Khandhar (he/him) is a Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) responsible for BCG’s Global LGBTQ+ diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) work. He brings with him a decade of experience in management consulting and DEI advising clients in financial services, consumer goods and the public sector across six countries. Kushal holds an MSc in Investment Management from Henley Business School, University of Reading; is a CFA Charterholder, and a rank-holding Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joins the board in his personal capacity.

Kushal has co-authored various thought leadership research on LGBTQ+ DEI including a recent report in Harvard Business Review. He was recognised as Trailblazer of the Year at the British LGBT Awards 2023 and was included in the OUTstanding Role Models list in 2020 and 2021.

Outside of work, Kushal enjoys creative writing and translating literature. He has been published in four languages and is especially passionate about increasing visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in the Gujarati, Hindi and Urdu languages.
