Fundraising at school, college or university?

Fundraising at school, college or uni is great way to work together to support Stonewall, and a fun way to learn about the issues that affect young LGBTQ+ people both in the UK and around the world. It's the perfect way to show your commitment to supporting and improving the lives of LGBTQ+ people.

  • Make it more than just a bake sale and hold an Equali-Tea at your school. To receive your Equali-Tea pack, email our team.
  • Hold a rainbow non-uniform day with pupils donating £1 to take part in cash or online
  • Sell tickets for a disco, film screening, talent competition or concert at your school and donate the proceeds to Stonewall
  • Organise a sponsored walk or run around the school field, or a sports day
  • Always chatting in class? Then do a one hour sponsored silence for Stonewall! It’s harder than you think…

Fundraising at work?

Fundraising at work is great way to work together to support Stonewall, and learn about the issues that affect young LGBTQ+ people both in the UK and around the world. It's the perfect way to show your workplace’s commitment to supporting and improving the lives of LGBTQ+ people.

  • Payroll Giving is one of the easiest ways to support Stonewall and our work. As an employee, it's easy to sign up - all you need to do is fill in this form today. For more information, please email our team.
  • Holding an Equali-Tea coffee morning or tea party is a great way to get people together and can be held in many different locations. To receive your Equali-Tea pack please email the team
  • Make your fundraising super easy by creating a Just Giving page, link it to Stonewall and ask your Equali-Tea guests to donate. Just Giving pages are also easy to share on social media and email, create yours today!
  • Why not hold a Pride fundraiser? We’ve always got fundraising plans to help you succeed – why not do a team steps challenge, or a sponsored Rainbow-themed outfit day? The sky is the limit!
  • Do you know if your employer does Matched Funding? Find out if your workplace matches any amounts you raise and give your fundraising total a huge boost!

Fundraising in your community

Whether you are fundraising alone or as part of a group, fundraising in your community is a fun and fantastic way to support LGBTQ+ communities and raise funds for Stonewall!

  • Get your friends together for a good old-fashioned board game night, or with a fun role-playing game, and ask for donations.
  • Host a film night and turn your home into a mini cinema for your guests. Ask for donations for ‘tickets’ and get the popcorn popping!
  • From raffles, trivia nights, a virtual open mic or a 12-hour streaming challenge, holding streaming fundraising and online events makes it so easy for your loved ones locally and around the world to join in.
